Encryption isn't available here

This app encrypts your data with your browser's built-in cryptography, which only works on a secure page: an https:// address, localhost, or the file opened directly from your computer. Open it one of those ways. Nothing has been changed.

Check your internet connection and try again.

Set a passcode

Your warranty list is encrypted in your browser with this passcode before it's saved to the cloud. You'll need it on every device you use.

Setup code (from the site owner)

New passcode (at least 10 characters)

Confirm passcode

⚠ There is no way to recover a forgotten passcode. If you forget it, your data cannot be decrypted by anyone. Keep an exported backup somewhere safe.

Locked

Enter your passcode to open your warranty list.

Passcode

Your list is encrypted with your passcode before it leaves your browser, so nobody can recover it without the passcode, not even the site owner. To start over, the owner of the Azure subscription can delete the warrantytracker table in the storage account (Azure portal › Storage account › Storage browser › Tables). The app will then ask for a new passcode, and you can import a backup file if you have one.

Warranty Tracker

Keep track of when your hardware warranties run out. Your list is encrypted with your passcode before it's saved to the cloud.

Your list, product photos and receipts are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) in this browser with a key made from your passcode, then stored in Azure. The server never sees your passcode or your devices. A forgotten passcode cannot be recovered, so export an encrypted backup now and then.
